Georgia :: Southern Woods
It’s very hard to describe perfection, but Southern Woods Plantation is as close as it comes.  Southern Woods is the largest private hunting preserve east of the Mississippi, specializing in Bob While Quail.  No expense has been spared in making this one of the most sought after destinations for wing shooting in the United States.

Georgia :: Flat Rock Quail Preserve
For a true Southern down home experience and gracious Southern hospitality, Flat Rock is a hidden gem in Dublin, Georgia.  Flat Rock has been featured twice on the Outdoor Channel with Engel’s Outdoor Experience.  From Continental pheasant shoots to fast quail hunting with exceptional dogs, and truly adventurous wild hog hunts, Flat Rock is a great destination for the entire family, from the novice hunter to the most experienced hunter. Many young hunters have harvested their first game at Flat Rock, and many experienced hunters have been skunked by the fast flying birds!  (We speak from experience!)

Accommodations are rustic and very limited, but local hotels are nearby.  Or, since Flat Rock is located just two hours west of Savannah, why not treat yourself to a day trip to Flat Rock, along with your historic holiday in one of the most fabled cities in America?

Texas :: Briley Outfitting
Located just outside of San Angelo, Texas, Briley Outfitting has terrific combinations of exotics, white tails, and Rio turkeys.  Briley manages more than 40,000 acres of prime hunting land in west Texas.  They have been featured many times on deer and turkey hunts, on various outdoor shows.  The accommodations range from do-it-yourself bunk houses to a fully catered ranch house.

Briley Outfitting offers the full spectrum of the exotics that are available in Texas from aoudad to scimitar horned oryx. Briley offers whitetails 100 B&C class to 200 B&C class. The number of white tails you will see on any given day will astound you, not only the quantity, but quality of bucks, making it very difficult to decide which to harvest…so many choices…so many opportunities!  This is an excellent place to bring the young hunters in your family, as they will not get bored in a stand hunt.  Briley has long been a favourite of our clients, and have enjoyed a very high success rates on all species.

Texas, Colorado and Mexico :: Double Diamond Outfitters
Double Diamond, a relatively new outfitter, has quickly earned a great reputation for providing quality hunts on private lands in Texas, Colorado and Mexico.  In Colorado, they offer bow hunting only for elk and mule deer.  The bow hunts for elk are all during the bugling season, and they have been very successful placing the hunter within bow range of elk with scores in excess of 300 on free-range wild elk.

In Texas, Double Diamond operates on several ranges outside of Kerrville, on the west side of the hill country. Here they offer a full range of exotics under high fence, free range on the aoudads, white tails from 100 B&C to 200 B&C, and lots and lots of RIO turkeys. 

Double Diamond has arrangements with private ranches in Sonora, Mexico for coues deer, desert mule deer, desert big horn sheep, and Gould turkeys.

Accommodations in all of Double Diamond’s locations are clean and comfortable with good food and helpful staff.

Wyoming
Located near Devil’s Tower, Wyoming, White Tail Creek Outfitters manages over 200,000 acres of private land for white tail, mule deer, prong horn antelope, elk, prairie dogs and Merriam turkeys.   The odds of being drawn for an elk tag in this section of Wyoming for a non-resident are slim, but, the good news is, deer and antelope tags are very abundant! If you are drawn for a deer tag, you may take either a mule deer or a white tail.  And generally, there are left-over tags available after the drawing in March. White Tail Creek has a very strict policy on the size of antelope they will allow to be harvested, a 14 inch minimum.  They offer exceptional prairie dog shooting during the summer months…bring lots of ammunition!  There are an abundance of Merriam turkeys in the Spring hunting season, but be prepared for the occasional snow storm during your stay.

White Tail Creek has a modern lodge with excellent meals, cozy bar on-site, a fully stocked gun store, and cold rooms for processing and taking care of your trophies.
