Texas, Colorado and Mexico :: Double Diamond Outfitters
Double Diamond, a relatively new outfitter, has quickly earned a great reputation for providing quality hunts on private lands in Texas, Colorado and Mexico. In Colorado, they offer bow hunting only for elk and mule deer. The bow hunts for elk are all during the bugling season, and they have been very successful placing the hunter within bow range of elk with scores in excess of 300 on free-range wild elk. In Texas, Double Diamond operates on several ranges outside of Kerrville, on the west side of the hill country. Here they offer a full range of exotics under high fence, free range on the aoudads, white tails from 100 B&C to 200 B&C, and lots and lots of RIO turkeys. Double Diamond has arrangements with private ranches in Sonora, Mexico for coues deer, desert mule deer, desert big horn sheep, and Gould turkeys. Accommodations in all of Double Diamond’s locations are clean and comfortable with good food and helpful staff.
